Nineteen (19) unpublished manuscript pages written by Will Rogers between 1924 and 1932, primarily for his newspaper column. This material was bound into a single volume and was presented by Will Rogers, Jr. in cooperation with the Will Rogers Museum in Claremore, OK, on February 24, 1972. These pages have the distinction of being designated as the one millionth volume to be added to the OSU Library. Material from the presentation ceremony is part of this collection. Included are audio tapes, a program, an invitation, photographs, and the guestbook.

The youngest of eight children, William Penn Adair Rogers was born on November 4, 1879 at Rogers Ranch in Oologah, Indian Territory (what is now Oklahoma). Initial asbestos abatement projects in the OSU Edmon Low Library began in 1979 and continued through 1984.
